Drier conditions are predicted over much of the southern ASEAN region in the next fortnight (7 – 20 August). Drier conditions are also predicted over much of Mainland Southeast Asia and northern parts of the Philippines in Week 1 (7 – 13 August).

Wetter conditions are predicted over the central and southern Philippines as well as the surrounding region in the next fortnight (7 – 20 August).

Warmer than usual temperature is predicted over the eastern equatorial region in Week 1 (7 – 13 August). These warmer temperatures are predicted to extend westwards to cover most of the central and eastern equatorial region in Week 2 (14 – 20 August). Warmer than usual temperature is also predicted over much of the northern ASEAN region in the next fortnight (7 – 20 August).

No Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) signal was present at the start of August. Most models predict no significant MJO signal during the forecast period.

Drier conditions are predicted over much of the southern ASEAN region in Week 1 (24 – 30 July). These drier conditions are predicted to persist over the central and eastern parts of the mentioned region in Week 2 (31 July – 6 Aug).

Wetter conditions are predicted over the northern half of the Philippines in Week 1 (24 – 30 July). Wetter conditions are also predicted over parts of the western Maritime Continent in Week 2 (31 July – 6 Aug).

Warmer than usual temperature is predicted over much of the Maritime Continent in the next fortnight (24 July – 6 Aug). Warmer than usual temperature is also predicted over northern Mainland Southeast Asia in Week 1 (24 – 30 July).

No clear Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) signal was present in the third week of July. Most models predict no significant MJO signal during the forecast period.

For rainfall, wetter conditions are predicted over parts of the western and central Maritime Continent and much of the Philippines in Week 1 (26 June – 2 July). Drier conditions are predicted over parts of the southeastern Maritime Continent in Week 1 (26 June – 2 July).

For temperature, warmer than usual temperature is expected over much of the ASEAN region in the next fortnight (26 June – 9 July), including most of Mainland Southeast Asia, the Malay Peninsula, the Philippines, and the southern and southeastern Maritime Continent.

No clear Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) signal was present in the third week of June based on the RMM Index. Most models predict no significant MJO signal during Week 1.

Drier conditions are predicted over most of the Maritime Continent and parts of southern Mainland Southeast Asia in Week 2 (19 – 25 June).

Warmer than usual temperature is expected over much of the Maritime Continent in Week 1 (12 – 18 June). These warmer conditions are predicted to persist and extend northwards over southern Mainland Southeast Asia in Week 2 (19 – 25 June).

A Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) signal was present over the Western Hemisphere and Africa (Phases 8 and 1) in the first week of June based on the RMM Index. Most models predict this MJO signal to continue propagating eastward through the Indian Ocean (Phases 2 and 3) and decay over the Maritime Continent (Phases 4 and 5) during the forecast period.

These wetter conditions are predicted to extend northwards over parts of central Mainland Southeast Asia in Week 2 (5 – 11 June). Wetter conditions are also predicted over much of the Philippines in the next fortnight (29 May – 11 June).

Drier conditions are predicted over much of the southern ASEAN region in Week 1 (29 May – 4 June). These drier conditions are predicted to ease during Week 2 (5 – 11 June).

Warmer than usual temperature is predicted over much of the southern ASEAN region during the next fortnight (29 May – 11 June), in line with the predicted drier conditions. Warmer conditions are also predicted over the northern half of Mainland Southeast Asia in Week 1 (29 May – 4 June).

A Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) signal was present over the Western Pacific (Phases 6 and 7) in the second half of May. Most models predict this MJO signal to decay in Phases 7 or 8 during Week 1.

Drier conditions are also predicted over much of Mainland Southeast Asia in Week 1 (15 – 21 May). Wetter conditions are predicted over most parts of the Philippines in Week 2 (22 – 28 May).

Warmer than usual conditions are expected over much of Mainland Southeast Asia and parts of the western Maritime Continent in Week 1 (15 – 21 May). These warmer conditions are predicted to gradually ease during Week 2 (22 – 28 May). Over much of the eastern Maritime Continent, warmer than usual temperature is predicted during Week 2.

In Week 1 (1 – 7 May), drier conditions are predicted over much of central and eastern Mainland Southeast Asia, as well as northern parts of the Philippines. Also in Week 1, wetter conditions are predicted over much of the Maritime Continent.

Warmer than usual temperature is predicted over much of the eastern half of the Maritime Continent during the next fortnight (1 – 14 May). Warmer than usual temperature is also predicted over much of Mainland Southeast Asia in Week 1 (1 – 7 May).

A Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) signal was present over the Indian Ocean (Phase 2) at the end of April. Most models predict an MJO signal to continue propagating eastwards reaching the Western Pacific (Phases 6 and 7) in Week 2 (8 – 14 May).

Warmer than usual temperature is predicted over much of Mainland Southeast Asia and the Malay Peninsula in Week 1 (17 – 23 April), in line with the predicted drier conditions over these regions.

A Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) signal was present over the Western Pacific (Phases 6 and 7) in the second week of April. Most models predict this MJO signal to continue propagating eastwards before decaying over the Western Hemisphere and Africa (Phase 1) towards the end of the forecast period.

Drier conditions are expected over much of Mainland Southeast Asia in Week 1 (3 – 9 April), in particular over central parts of Mainland Southeast Asia. Drier conditions are also predicted over parts of the western and central Maritime Continent in Week 2 (10 – 16 April).

Warmer than usual temperature is predicted over much of Mainland Southeast Asia in Week 1 (3 – 9 April), in line with the predicted drier conditions. These warmer conditions are predicted to persist over central Mainland Southeast Asia and gradually ease elsewhere in Week 2 (10 – 16 April).

No discernible Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) signal was present at the end of March. Most models predict an MJO signal to emerge in the Western Pacific (Phases 6 and 7) during Week 1 and then slowly propagate eastwards over the rest of the forecast period. However, some models predict no discernible MJO signal during this time.
